When you want to install the iconic 1.8T or the bulletproof 1.9 TDI longitudinally, combined with a durable BMW manual gearbox, in other words — to bring together the best of both worlds in your project (for example, a Suzuki Samurai that's always been lacking in performance) — we’re here to help. This is an adapter that allows you to connect such an engine-gearbox setup.

Notes:
To properly connect the engine and gearbox, use the VW/Audi 03G911023A starter, VW/Audi 026105269L single-mass flywheel, VW/Audi 053141117 pressure plate, and a BMW clutch disc.
It is also possible to use a 240 mm clutch disc — the VW/Audi 026105269L flywheel has enough space to accommodate it.
If using the VW/Audi 068911024H starter together with the VW/Audi VALEO val835026 clutch kit, you must install a 10 mm spacer between the crankshaft and the flywheel.
